With so many beard care products on the market at the moment, it can be confusing.
Trying to decide which are the best beard products for you can be overwhelming. Often, this results in people picking up the first beard oil they see in a supermarket assuming it's decent if *insert big supermarket name* sells it.
This isn't always the case. If a product is designed to sit on a shelf for a while, there will be a lot of chemicals and stabilisers in there to prolong shelf life. These can be damaging to your hair.
Use natural products where possible like Braw Beard oils. For more information, you can read more about our oils HERE.
This article is to help you choose which are the best beard products for you. So let me break down the different product types and what I'd recommend.
The best beard products for you.
Short beards.
If you have a short beard under 3 inches, I recommend using the following products.
Beard Wash to clean.
Beard oil to moisturise the skin and beard.
Beard brush to evenly distribute the oil through your beard and exfoliate the skin below to reduce dandruff and irritation.
Longer beards.
For facial hair from 3 inches upwards, I'd recommend introducing some additional products as follows.
Beard Wash to clean.
Beard oil to moisturise the skin and beard.
Beard comb to detangle the hair from washing.
Moustache comb to train the moustache outwards.
Beard butter hold wispy hairs in place and give the beard some hold/shape.
Beard brush to evenly distribute the oil through your beard and exfoliate the skin below to reduce dandruff and irritation.
To be honest, those products (in the longer beard list) are the only ones I use and in that order too.

Sure, you don't need to use them at all, a beard will grow on its own, BUT itchiness, irritation, dry skin, dandruff and bad smells are very off putting. Beard care is highly beneficial and does makes growing a beard more manageable and pleasurable.
I hope this article has helped you understand which are the best beard products for you to save overwhelm.

By far the best oil I’ve tried, and I’ve tried quite a few. It works really well at conditioning my beard (medium - long length) and the best bit is the patchouli scent takes me back to being an 80s goth. Winner!
I only use Braw for all my beard care dailys. Was providing relief for work elsewhere and as my beard is my most identifiable feature. I was asked if I conditioned it as it looked soft and shiny "Ross with the nice beard"
Heather is great, works a treat like all the oil range does but the smell is incredible and it lasts too. Always feel great after a wash, oil and balm.
Much like a lot of people in the Brawtherhood, I’ve tried many different products out there. This however is the only one worth the rave reviews. Feels great, packaging is second to none. A fantastic addition to anyone’s beard care.
I’ve ordered this particular scent over and over. For mine reason and one reason only, it’s unparalleled in its quality. Feels great, smells great. Don’t bother trying other brands, braw beards the only one worth your time.
