With so many beard care products on the market at the moment, it can be confusing.
Trying to decide which are the best beard products for you can be overwhelming. Often, this results in people picking up the first beard oil they see in a supermarket assuming it's decent if *insert big supermarket name* sells it.
This isn't always the case. If a product is designed to sit on a shelf for a while, there will be a lot of chemicals and stabilisers in there to prolong shelf life. These can be damaging to your hair.
Use natural products where possible like Braw Beard oils. For more information, you can read more about our oils HERE.
This article is to help you choose which are the best beard products for you. So let me break down the different product types and what I'd recommend.
The best beard products for you.
Short beards.
If you have a short beard under 3 inches, I recommend using the following products.
Beard Wash to clean.
Beard oil to moisturise the skin and beard.
Beard brush to evenly distribute the oil through your beard and exfoliate the skin below to reduce dandruff and irritation.
Longer beards.
For facial hair from 3 inches upwards, I'd recommend introducing some additional products as follows.
Beard Wash to clean.
Beard oil to moisturise the skin and beard.
Beard comb to detangle the hair from washing.
Moustache comb to train the moustache outwards.
Beard butter hold wispy hairs in place and give the beard some hold/shape.
Beard brush to evenly distribute the oil through your beard and exfoliate the skin below to reduce dandruff and irritation.
To be honest, those products (in the longer beard list) are the only ones I use and in that order too.

Sure, you don't need to use them at all, a beard will grow on its own, BUT itchiness, irritation, dry skin, dandruff and bad smells are very off putting. Beard care is highly beneficial and does makes growing a beard more manageable and pleasurable.
I hope this article has helped you understand which are the best beard products for you to save overwhelm.

Let me say right off the bat.....i never leave reviews as i`m very rarely impressed enough to do so, but i feel Braw beard Butter needs to be acknowledged.
I`ve been growing for just over two years now, and i purposely let it grow without triming it thinking i`ll shape it when it gets to a length i like. but over the last few months i`ve not really been liking it and if truth be told, on more than a few occasions i was close to cutting the whole thing off.
But after a quick message to JJ regarding a good beard barber, he also let me know about one of his product " Beard Butter " so i made a purchase along with a brush and without sounding overly dramatic, i love my beard again and thats all down to the hold of the butter, its non greasy and keeps fly away hairs in place naturally which all i was really looking for.
So to rap up this review..... Huge thanks to JJ for the info he passed on to me, and a huge recommendation from me to anyone interested in the butter. Thanks to JJ and Braw Beard Products, another beard`s been saved.
Best regards.....Fraser
