Quarantine beard. Are you growing yours out?

On lockdown? Stuck in the house? Looking for something to do? It may take longer than most activities but now is a great time to grow out your quarantine beard. Quite often guys with beards get a hard time about their facial hair from others. Whether it is a boss, friends, parents or someone at the local coffeeshop, it can be disheartening. Now is a great time to grow out your quarantine beard.

But, most of us are now stuck in the house on lockdown. It's a great time to keep growing your beard out without any outside judgement. Get it to a stage that YOU are happy with. When lockdown is lifted, get yourself to the barbers and get your quarantine beard tidied up ready for stepping foot back into your workplace. By the way, I realise certain workers have been told to shave due to COVID-19, like the emergency services. We salute that! They're on the frontline saving lives. Once they are in a position to do so, beards grow back. If beards are acceptable at your workplace, usually friction from bosses comes because the beard looks scruffy. If you're stuck in the house now, let it get scruffy and grow it out. Although it doesn't necessarily need to be styled daily, just make sure to take care of your quarantine beard like any other day. There are 2 ways your beard can come out the other side of lockdown

If you're like me, being stuck in the house means that the hinges on the fridge are getting a workout, my diet isn't as great as it once was. Eating unhealthily, not drinking enough water and lacking a regular beard care routine can lead to facial hair being brittle, dry and snapping. So, if you are growing out your quarantine beard, there are 2 ways your beard can come out the other side of lockdown: Unkempt which will probably lead to being told to shave, or Confident with a well presented, tidy, healthy looking beard, which is more difficult to tell someone to shave off if they're clearly taking care of it. My routine at this time is • I wash my beard with Braw Beard Wash in the shower in the morning • Then gently towel dry my beard • Next, apply Braw Beard oil, my current choice is Anniversary19 • Then comb, then apply a little Braw Beard Butter for hold • Finally, brush through to evenly distribute the product. Braw Beard oil Scotland On a day where I leave the house to go for supplies, I wash twice a day with Braw Beard Wash. Once in the morning and once when I get back home, to ensure cleanliness. For looking after your quarantine beard, I'd recommend washing with Braw Beard Wash daily to ensure cleanliness. The added aloe vera helps reduce dandruff too if your skin is dry. Apply some of your favourite Braw Beard oil, the hempseed base is used to moisturise the skin and hair. It also adds a protective layer to the skin, which helps prevent rashes and provides relief for acne. If your beard is feeling dry and brittle, apply some Braw Beard butter too, this will moisturise the hair and leave it feeling soft. Then brush the product through for full coverage for the best results. I hope this helps? I'm looking forward to seeing your quarantine beards! Thank you for reading. JJ Join the #Brawtherhood P.S.
